I'm pretty disappointed in your site. I chose to try your site after receiving a card from the Web 2.0 conference. It took over 1/2 the day to enter over 100 photos. Dragging and dropping them worked, but only for the first two rows. Seems my screen isn't large enough to show both windows.
I stuck with your website since I thought maybe the end result would win me over, but when I went to view the photo's, some of the images were hidden behind other photo's. I couldn't see all of my photo's and the site didn't state what the limit was. I liked the running total, but it needs to also state the limit (ie.100 of 240).
I tried your auto fill feature, just to see what the whole book would look like, and though you said that it's possible to move the photo's around, it's not clear how to do it. The directions aren't intuitive.
I would love to use your site, since my photo's are already loaded, but mother's day is around the corner and I don't have the time to try again.
I am sorry that you have not had a good first experience with our photo book creator.
We are keen to rectify this, please could you send your contact details to our customer service department (service@albelli.com) and one of our representatives will be more than happy to contact you and guide you further (and in time for Mothers' Day).
Regarding photos hidden behind other photos, this sounds like a windows setting. (Assuming that it is Windows) can you right click on an empty space next to the photos, and select 'view' and then 'auto arrange' and see if this helps. Please let me know if this solves the problem.
To move photos within a page, click (and hold) anywhere on the image and drag it to the new position.
This is different to the move within the frame icon (3rd icon on the top-left of the image) which allows you to select a part of the image to be displayed within the frame.
At the moment each book can hold upto a maximum of 60 pages.
An auto-filled book can hold 4 images per page making a total of 240 images. A manual filled album can hold more images per page (up to a maximum of ten). In theory one book could hold 600 images!!
